Beyond the Mat Yoga

I am a beginner to yoga (mostly sedentary lifestyle) and started 2 months ago with Nadia. She was in the middle of moving studios but she has received me so well! This year has been very stressful for me and she has helped me find peace for my mind while exercising my body. I have been doing the Hatha yoga classes and started Pilates.

Right after each class, I feel energized, refreshed, and happy. The next day, I can tell which muscles I worked because I am a bit sore (which makes me think I am on the right path). On top of that, I have lost some extra weight. 😊

I have noticed how careful she is with each person’s physical needs, goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and is very kind. If you’re a beginner and looking for a place to do yoga, this is it. I don’t take her advanced classes, but she is very professional and helpful.

This studio is an absolute gem in Bradenton. As soon as you walk in the door you can feel the calming, positive energy of the place. The owner, Nadia, is the heart and soul of this studio. Not only is she a patient and skilled instructor, but she truly cares about her students and goes out of her way to get to know them and tailor her classes to meet their needs. This studio has been a blessing for me at one of the hardest times in my life and I would recommend it to anyone interested in exploring yoga - beginner to advanced.

I discovered Beyond the Mat Yoga shortly after moving into town in December. The instructors are very knowledgeable, and create an inviting atmosphere for participants of all levels. With the small class sizes the instructors take special care to create an individualized approach to each session making every experience unique. If I could rate higher than five stars I would! Thanks Nadia and the team for creating such a welcoming experience and continuing to help me learn and grow in my yoga practice!

I have been going to this yoga studio for years. It is truly a blessing in my life! The studio is intimate, providing individual attention if needed. From aerial yoga, vinyasa, restorative and more, I have tried them all over the years. Even special events…this is a “true” yoga studio. Give this studio a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Great classes and great people there. Nadia is so professional and sweet. I love her aerial yoga classes.
