Town Hall Burger & Beer Durham

The burger tasted awesome!
The beauty was that the have a bar area where you can have a table service but if you just want to eat a burger and drink a beer you can choose to sit down at their quote on quote self-service area and the pay less tips.
It's a great way to have more customers, including those who are traveling alone or dining alone.

Not only was there a great selection of beers here but the food was absolutely ON POINT. Hands down best burger I've had from a restaurant. Gotta recommend the Tar Heel Burger that I had, it was so good. The picture I have of the fried pickles is after we ate half of it already, the order is HUGE. If you like spicy ask for some of the habanero sauce. All in all, what a gem. Very tasty place and good beers, good service.

Some of the best burgers I've EVER had, and I don't say that lightly. The "normal" size patty is a generous half pound of very high quality beef, ground in store and actually cooked to order. I'm usually cautious about ordering a medium burger but they NAIL it.

Despite the massive selection of toppings and condiments on offer everything is top notch. They don't skimp on anything.

I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey Burger in Vegas, where the burgers cost 3x as much . . . and Town Hall is as good or better!

My family and I have eaten here a couple of times and we really enjoy it. There are a few things that really stand out:
-Mikey, I'm not sure if he's the manager, the owner, or something else, but he is very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. He really pays attention to his customers, and when he saw I had two young boys, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

-Turkey burgers, my mother-in-law enjoyed it so much on our first visit, she and my wife got it again on the second visit.

-Outdoor seating but food is brought to you. I really like that they have two sections - one for full service and one where you order, find a table, and they bring your food to you. For those of us that are still a bit hesitant to eat inside, this was a great option.

All of the food we have gotten here has been good, but I really wanted to point those things out. If you, like me, prefer a little pink in your burger, order it even less done than you want. They are cooked just a bit more than you want, but the flavor is still good.
