Bluebird Park

Great little hidden gem.kids loved the hidden trails and tunnels and rocket ship

The park is wonderful! The Google map directions took me to the "entrance gate" of the park on Cress street, but there are actually a few parking spaces available where the park borders calliope street, so that's where I'll park next time.

Love the tall structures and slides. Whole park is enclosed which is nice.

Bluebird Park has so much for kids to do and explore. The main draw is the chance to play in a rocket shaped playground. There is also a lot of other equipment to climb on too. One area had a couple of tunnels to go through, and climb on top of. Another area had a smaller playground designed for younger kids. There are also a couple of really cool slides built on the hillside, though one is metal, so you might want to test it out first before hitting that one. There is an art feature of a turtle made with mosaic tiles. It is really colorful, and interesting for the kids. Something that had me a little on edge is that there are a lot of different areas kids can run off to, so keeping an eye on everyone might be tricky. Especially if they are older and younger. Having said that, there is a gate, and the area felt secure. My kids enjoyed it, and have already been bugging me to take them back with other friends, and relatives. I’m looking forward to another peaceful adventure at Bluebird Park where imagination can take control of our little astronauts.
