Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Gilbert, AZ

We love our haircuts from Marie. My kids have always enjoyed her fun personality. She is great with kids and is very fast and professional. We continue to come here for her great haircuts. Thank you!

We went to Sharkey's yesterday and we had a fantastic experience with Heather. She is so amazing with kids. My son got a great haircut and left saying he loved Sharkeys. We will definitely be back. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I had to leave a review! Took my boys to get a haircut with Heather. My oldest is autistic and actually loves haircuts but I still get nervous and my youngest absolutely HATES them so I prepared for the worst. I was also nervous of them getting overstimulated but they both loved it! They had a great time choosing their fun firetruck seat and watching a kid show on the tv. The staff were so polite and Heather is amazing, quick and so gentle with the kids! My youngest didn't shed one tear or scream! They also give you a balloon which my boys were obsessed with. I've never seen them look so happy to get a hair cut. We will be returning!

I’ve given a review on this location before and it was 5 stars because it is worth that even with my negative experience I just encountered… I am still going to give you 5 stars because majority of the staff is amazing… I LOVE this location and the manager… I normally take my daughter to only be seen by the manager she’s outstanding!!! However, I only had time last week to be seen at a specific time and she wasn’t available… therefore I chose someone who was available. I’m livid with the woman, Cassandra, who cut my daughter bangs. This place is catered towards children. I expect (like all the other employees are)… to be happy and love their job. They seem like they truly do. This woman, was so emotionless and told me that a show, nail polish, glitter in hair couldn’t be provided… strange. Also, the candy and balloon wasn’t even offered. She did not belong in a children’s environment. Other employees besides the manager have cut my daughters hair and have also been fantastic. I’m not very happy with this specific employee and visit. I still tipped her however, I wish I didn’t.

Our son is 4 years old and hasn't had a professional in years since his first experience scared him. We thought maybe the shark theme would help! Sure enough he did great once inside. He immediately picked the fire truck to sit in. Then Heather was calm and patient with him as she went to work. So awesome how fast she is while keeping it fun. There's also a television for kids to watch shows or play video games. Overall great experience and we'll be back. To top it all off, the kids get a balloon.
