We started our daughter in guitar lessons with Josh seven months ago. In that time, we have seen so much growth with our daughters ability to play an instrument along with self esteem improvements. I think music development plays a crucial role in many aspects of a child’s development. I highly recommend Slidell guitar school.

Josh is such an awesome teacher and is truly passionate about helping you learn to play the guitar. His approach is the complete opposite of cookie cutter. He helps you learn the basics of course but he puts an equal emphasis on becoming a musician/being able to create your own sound. Even on group lessons, you get the individual attention you need.

I had really fun learning from Josh. He makes personal schedules that teach you how to play without being overly complicated or stressing. I only had to quit due to college coming up and school workload, but I heavily recommend him if you are looking to learn how to play or refine your existing experience.

Josh is an amazing teacher! My son has been in Slidell Guitar School for almost two years. He has gained so much knowledge and learned so much since he’s been there. He has learned so more than guitar. He’s learned how to always go after what he wants, and that practicing and putting his best foot forward will help him reach his goals. Josh makes it fun, and always tells his students, at the end of every class how well they did, and that he is proud of them. He gives them things to work on, until their next practice meet. If I could give more than 5 stars, I most definitely would!
