Academy Foot & Ankle Specialists at Flowermound

Wow!!! This practice is spectacular. Beginning with Chelsea who answered the phone and made the appointment to the very Joyful staff at Argyle and Flower Mound.

I was in so much pain and needed help. I could not find any podiatrist available for appointments in my area and would have had to wait five days. I called Academy and they put my mind at ease. She said, "don't worry we will take care of you". I literally was about to cry because I was so happy.

I arrived to the Argyle office greeted with joy and happiness. The doctor told me what we needed to do with confidence and the desire to stop my pain. Unfortunately, the x-ray machine was not working. They called the Flower Mound Location, at the end of the day on a Thursday, and they did not hesitate inviting me to their office. (I would have driven anywhere to get the help needed).

Well, the staff at the Flower Mound office did not disappoint. They were welcoming and kind. It was clear they know their patients. Each time a patient entered the office the greeting was full of hospitality and kindness. (This was at the end of the day!)

The doctor and MA were assuring that there was a plan that would help me. They spent time with me letting me know I was in good hands. It was quite clear everyone loves their job!!!

Thank you all for your care of your patients! You truly know the meaning of customer service!!!

I went to Academy for a second opinion and so glad I did. The other place diagnosed me with a foot fracture and sent me home with a boot for 10 weeks. Thankfully Academy diagnosed with neuropathy and gave me a steroid shot, told me to wear support shoes and to do stretches for my calves. My foot is perfectly fine now. Academy charges are very reasonable I can't say the same about the other place.

They took great care of my elderly father. They were patient with him having to repeat questions, as he forgot his hearing aids.

My 12 year old had an ingrown toe nail that needed to be done. She was very nervous about this. This was her second time doing it and the doctor we went to before she had a horrible experience and her toe never healed. My daughter was a complete mess when we went to see the new doctor, Dr. Floyd. When we got there the receptionist Ruth was so welcoming. We didn't have to wait and she took us right back to the room. Pauline the MA, she's Dr. Floyd's assistant was just as amazing. They both made my daughter feel so comfortable. They knew exactly how to work with children. Dr. Floyd came in and spoke with her and made her feel even better. The procedure went so well. When it got done my daughter was like, wow it's over. She took it like a champ the second time around. Her toe looks great. We want to say thank you to everyone Pauline, Ruth and Dr. Floyd. Highly recommend Academy Foot & Ankle Specialists.
