I am a musician, a producer and owner of Landslide Studio in Asheville, NC. Brent mastered my first album 20 years ago and every subsequent record i have released. His work has stood the test of time and I’m always extremely satisfied with the masters. Brent’s technical expertise along with his ideas and aesthetics always elevate my mixes. He improves on the mixes I provide without altering the spirit, heart & soul of what he’s been given to work with. I recommend Brent - first and foremost to ALL of my studio clients. He has mastered dozens of albums for my clients and they are always satisfied. Brent is well versed in all styles and IF you ever have any feedback regarding your masters - Brent is extremely intuitive and able to translate your ideas from a quick conversion into meaningful changes to get you a master you’re stoked about. oh - and by the way, Brent is an awesome human, extremely kind and personable. He understands the commitment it takes to complete an album and hand it off for mastering. So expect the very best, because he will give it to you!

(September 10, 2019, 3:31 pm)Brent mastered the self titled EP that I tracked and mixed for my band, Dr Echo and Mr Hi. I sat in on the session and was blown away by how many things I could hear within the mixes in the mastering suite that were invisible in my room at mixdown. Even more amazed at how Brent transformed my great sound into something extra special. The results are amazing and I will never release another song from my studio without it going to The Kitchen first. Thanks Brent!!
