Over The Top Burger Bar

We had a party of 7 and EVERY single person agreed it was the best burger joint they’ve ever been to. They’re not kidding when they say “over the top”. Everything from the super creative menu, hip environment, and over the top customer service was above and beyond. Travis was our host and we knew from the moment we walked in that this was a special kind of environment from his outstanding customer service. Erik our server was incredible. He was super kind, prompt, and helpful when it came to our complicated orders. One of our party was vegetarian and their veggie burger was the best they’ve ever had that they actually thought it was meat at first. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this while you’re in Gainesville!

Stopped in for the first time and had an excellent time. The service was top notch, burgers are definitely "over the top" in the best way, and the whole ambiance was relaxed and fun. The flamethrower burger might be a little better in theory than it turns out, but the Bun Jovi was delicious all around! Will definitely be back. Also seems like a great place to catch a game.

After about five consistently good visits it was time for a little review. Cool, dim interior that’s very inviting. The burgers are big, messy, and delicious. We had the Elvis and I feel peanut butter is underrated on a burger. Awesome fries and they come with gravy (very Northern/Canadian). The Breakfast in Bed shake though, wow! I was spent after that, and well worth $10. We had friendly service too. I went “over the top” and lived to tell about it.

My boyfriend in I are in town from Pittsburgh visiting family in Buford. We saw this burger joint online and had to check it out! Came in and immediately received a warm welcome from the hostess and Ashley our waitress. She was great, consistently checked in on us, and gave us a rundown of their menu and top favorites. My boyfriend and I both got the Georgia Summer burger and absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend this place!!!

This place has such a cool vibe and really unique American cuisine! It's genuinely "over the top" with the creative recipes. They have some pretty great staff as well. Hunter was our server. He was funny, checked on us often, and gave great advice about the food and drinks. He handled several tables in addition to us, and anticipated everything we needed. Made it a GREAT experience even thought the restaurant was busy.
