The Legacy has been nothing but great to my mother and myself through this Covid ordeal. They were one of the first senior living places to lock down and care for their residents. They do have strict guidelines in place that are there to protect the residents and are in the best interests of their welfare. It’s not been an easy road for anyone involved with this pandemic. I feel safe having my mother there with the guidelines in place. I’m happy we moved her there 2 years ago.

I whittled down a list of hundreds (yes) to my top 5. In the end, Legacy of St Michael came out on top. The other 4 were very good and had great amenities, but this was the only place where both residents and staff looked like they WANTED to be there! They have a good meal plan, and if you don't like what they are offering that day--you can order off their (extensive!) menu. I love the clever way they disguise the door between the memory care unit and the rest of the building to keep residents from accidentally wandering out!
