In my case, there were several hurdles to overcome. A 30 day closing by the seller, closing over the Christmas and New Years holidays, and a competitive bid as well! Plus, I was not in Colorado, and had to do all of the necessary work remotely!

There were several things that mitigated those hurdles. Mic is very organized, and set up an interactive calendar that I could view with all the necessary deadlines. We had a call to go over all the paperwork that was to come, and what each of the deadlines meant. Really appreciated what the process would look like, and expectations of what I needed to do in the process.

Another mitigation was her team. She has a very competent team to work with - loan officer, surety company, inspection company, etc. The condo inspection turned up something that needed attention, and she helped me navigate the needed cost estimates and successful negotiations with the seller. Anything that was not in order, her team was on it and got it straightened out. All of her team members were as accessible as Mic was, and they got the job done.

Another mitigation is that she has handled these short timelines before, and knew how to handle it. Her mentoring proved vital in allowing my efforts to dovetail with the rest of her team for a successful outcome.

All this resulted in a successful purchase, all done remotely!
