John came in as a true professional. Experienced and confident. Some bids had come in lower, some higher. However, no one else left me with such a feeling of certainty that I was in good hands. And I was.
Not my first floor. Here the workmanship and detail were excellent. Seventy-year old red oak so it has retained the fine patina of age, but now with an entirely restored glow to it.
I am sure that it was obvious from the job site that this is a (lesser experienced) sweat equity project. No problem. Beyond the flooring, John left us with some project and time saving insights and suggestions.
This is a rental but now I almost want to move back into it. Good Job.

They were on time each day, worked hard, kept to the promised schedule, and we could not be more pleased with our new flooring, fireplace surround, and the high-end look of our remodeled bathroom. If we ever need more work, New Horizons is the company we will use.

Great experience working with John and New Horizons Flooring on the installation of a new luxury vinyl plank floor along with new baseboard installation. The initial bid process was easy, and they asked more questions to fully understand the project than others. Project cost was reasonable. The installation team completed the project quickly and the final product turned out great! The team also left a clean site each night before they left, which I appreciate.

Professional and responsive service from quoting to work completion. They cared about how the wood floor would look by offering suggestions right from the start. We really liked seeing the stain samples painted on the floor before choosing the final finish. The finished work was beautiful with new wood seamlessly integrated with the old. They also offered floor caring advice at the final walkthrough (suggestions on how to move the big furniture pieces back without scratching the new floor was a big help also.). We will use them as again for other projects.
