Under Angel Wings Care Home L.L.C

Under Angel Wings Care Home Assisted Living facility is hands down the absolute BEST care
home in Arizona! My mom was in the hospital for a while, then went to Hospice of the Valley (HOV)
and then she needed to be transferred to an assisted living care home and HOV recommended my
mom to go to Under Angel Wings. I met with the owners, Michael and Dolly Castillo, and explained
all the care my mom would need and I had such good vibes from them and they stated that they
would be able to take care of her. I am happy to say that Michael and Dolly and their amazing staff
go way above and beyond the call of duty to provide my mom with the utmost compassion, warmth
and kindness in taking care of her. My mom has dementia and she is also bedbound so she requires
a lot of extra care such as preparing her meals and helping her eat, giving her medication, bathing,
changing her clothes daily, laundry, toileting, grooming and assistance with the activities of daily living.
But what is even more important than all the wonderful assistance they provide to take care of her, is
that Michael, Dolly and the staff go out of their way to interact with her, engage with her, and spend time
with her instead of leaving her isolated and alone in her room like a lot of the other care homes and
large facilities would do. They could leave my mom in her bed all day long, but Michael will use the Hoyer
lift they have and put my mom in the wheelchair so she can be out in the living room/dining room with the
other residents and have a change of scenery to play cards, watch TV or do her word search puzzles.
They also have a little dog (Sammy) and they make sure little Sammy visits with my mom everyday since
my mom loves dogs. Michael and Dolly also cook her yummy vegetarian meals (my mom is a vegetarian),
and some examples of breakfast will be eggs with spinach and tomatoes, cauliflower hash browns,
or coconut yogurt with blueberries, bananas and strawberries. I am beyond thankful to HOV for finding
Under Angel Wings Care Home for my mom and so extremely grateful to Michael, Dolly and their staff for
taking the best possible care of my mom. I can sleep at night now knowing that my mom is being treated
like a member of their family at Under Angel Wings Care Home. This care home definitely deserves a

After having a very bad experience with a rehab facility, we moved our Aunt into this home. Mike and his care providers where amazing. Treated us like family, took great care of our Aunt, and helped her improve in just two months. The other house mates all seemed happy and interacted with not only our Aunt but also us. Check them out, so worth it.

Michael and his team create a great environment for the people living in Under Angel Wings Care Home (which included my brother-in-law). Not only is it clean as can be, but everyone is warm and loving and seems to really care about the residents. Food is great too! Thanks, Michael & all

I have been working for Under Angel Wings for about a year and I can honestly say that Under Angel Wings Care home is second to none. Mike goes over and above for each and every one of his residents to make sure that they have everything they need. The joy and fun his residents have is amazing and the energy Mike and his family brings is amazing. I feel like I have joined another family here. If you are looking to place a loved one in a home that truly cares for them than this is the place for you.
