Master Chang's Martial Arts

Our daughter has been training in taekwondo with Master Chang's for almost a year, and she absolutely loves it! The instructors are so good with students of all ages and show so much patience in helping all levels learn their skills. We have been in awe of the focus and discipline our daughter has gained while in this program, not because it is demanded but because she has a new understanding of respect and aims to please. She gets so excited to go to class to learn new skills in forms, kicks, board breaking, self-defense, sparring, and more. She has made new friends and is overall more self-confident from being a student at Master Chang's. We are so grateful for the amazing Masters at Master Chang's Falls River!

My son started at Master Chang’s at Falls River when he was a shy, anxious six year old. The Masters were absolutely amazing with him and helped him to become a strong, confident leader! He recently tested for and earned his Black Belt as a nine year old.

His Masters have all taken the time to get to know my child and the whole family which is a comfort to everyone.

Throughout the pandemic, my son’s master would zoom with him and work through his forms and that gave my son so much comfort and something to look forward to during an uncertain time.

We are so thankful that we found Master Chang’s and for the amazingly positive influence it has had on our son!

We have been coming here for a few years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. They genuinely care and work with the kids for not just the martial arts aspects but also focus and discipline. They have an abundance of patience and dedication to the children and make it fun.

Master Hong and master Won are absolutely the best. Our daughter was very shy in the beginning but right now she shows a lot of confidence and focus. I love that they teach to be respectful and kind but at the same time to be strong and courageous. 5 stars!

We are extremely pleased with Master Chang's at Falls River, and I can personally attest enrolling has made a real impact with our daughter. I know first hand the value that proper martial arts training can bring to youth, and Master Won and Master Hong have really shown us this can even benefit younger children. Most important for us, the values that are at the forefront of their training: confidence, discipline, respect (including self-respect) etc. There is a great balance of girls and boys, and students of all ages. The masters are exceptional at working with children, providing a great balance of instilling a positive, inclusive and fun environment while maintaining structure. The (optional) periodic parent/guardian participation classes are a blast. Belt testing days are where all the hard work materializes in an inspiring and emotional presentation.
