Bern's Steak House

Fantastic experience at Bern's. We had reservations for quite a while, so there was some build up to the experience. They exceeded expectations. Our table was well taken care of and our waiter was well balanced with personality, humor, and knew when to give us space. Our steaks were fantastic. Dessert in the other dining room was amazing (don't skip the dessert experience). We didn't have time to tour the wine cellar, but that gives us a great reason to go back. I would definitely recommend this for special occasions or if you just really want an expertly cooked steak.

We drove the two hours to Tampa to meet friends for dinner at Bern's. The food was delicious. The service was superior. Everyone was focused on giving us a great dining experience. Most of us ordered a meal which included sides. Wow it was a lot of food. Next time I will order the smaller size Delmonico steak. Steak's were cooked to perfection. The upstairs dessert floor is awesome. (The reason to order the smaller steak so you have room for dessert). Great selection of adult beverages. The valet parking was reasonable ($8) and fast/friendly. Would recommend Bern's anytime.....

Bern's was exceptional. A return trip after a few glitches during a prior dining experience. We were hopeful for a better experience. Especially appreciative of the Bern's reputation. We were not disappointed. Greeted warmly, seated timely, food outstanding, server all pros. Bern's met our expectations even considerate of special requests...

Bern's is what every steak house should look and feel like. It is a must do if you are in the area and enjoy great food. The ambience is great and each room has its own character. If it is available, I recommend doing the kitchen and wine cellar tours as it will add to the overall experience. I am looking to return in a few weeks for a special occasion and already cannot wait to be back. I am four hours away and I am driving primarily to eat here again. This was my third time visiting and the experience was just as great as my first time. We couldn't do the wine cellar and kitchen tour for obvious reasons, but that did not take away from the experience.

If you like steak and a couple of extra bucks for a nice dinner, this is the place to do it. Every part of the dinner I had here was incredible. From the extraordinary service to each thing we ate to the dessert room, we had a wonderful time. Every part of being there felt so special. Spenser was our waiter and was just fantastic. Was incredibly attentive, but never overbearing. Our dinner was two hours before we moved upstairs and it felt like no time had passed! When you go, just be sure to save room for dessert, because going to the dessert room is worth it.
