We love this vet! They always treat our dog so well! All of the staff is friendly! Dr. Williams is the best vet in Rockingham County if you ask me. She gives you her honest opinion and she doesn't recommend anything she wouldn't give her own animals! We will never go anywhere else!
My dog goes here. Staff is friendly. Office is clean. Great service.
Went here after dealing with the terrible people at Eden vet hospital and this place was so much better. The staff was so nice and helpful.
Wonderful caring vets and staff. Taking care of my pets without overcharging. I sure appreciate them.
We’ve been taking our dog to Central since 2010. They only do walk-ins and occasionally schedule follow ups. You can wait in your car with your pet, if your pet is stressed from the sounds and smells. The wait time isn’t any worse than a human clinic. Call to see what’s a good time for them for routine things like nail trims or checkups. The times change because needs change and those fur children tend to get sick in waves. The staff has always been nice to pet parents, but it’s not really about us. Patrons tend to deflect their fear and anger about their pet’s situation on staff and still the staff remains very professional and empathetic.
Now in our personal experience, we had dental work done here. The total bill for everything, including in-house blood work and take-home meds, was under $400. I signed a paper agreeing to pay $50 per additional tooth at the vet’s discretion. They pulled 18 teeth. They could’ve really hit me with a huge bill and they didn’t. That definitely counts towards our loyalty.
I’m a bit concerned about the tumor shots my dog got about a week ago. Poppy, my 11 pound chi terrier, got two shots as an effort to remove them instead of surgery. He’s shaking constantly even though he’s not cold and he’s been puking a lot. He has seasonal allergies and it may be his nerves, but I am a bit concerned that his ailments could be related to the shots. They may not be, but it’s something we’re watching.
