Alison Burmeister Yoga

I started my Yoga training with Alison as a suggestion of my wife. Being unfamiliar with yoga myself this was an opportunity for a much needed healthier and more active lifestyle restart for me. At the very first meeting with Alison she recognized my level and adapted her classes to help me feel confident and move through poses with ease.
She leads the flow giving clear and detailed instructions and I improve my strength and energy levels at the end of each session. I continue my training during COVID lockdown with Alison’s Virtual classes. I was surprised to find out how flawless and structured these online sessions actually are.
I would recommend Alison Burmeister Yoga Classes to everyone who would like to bring a significant change to both his body and mind under the professional guidance of a highly skilled and experienced instructor with an inspiring personality and individual approach to each of her clients.

I never thought I would be able to do yoga ..... let alone like it! I went to Alison’s yoga class a few years ago and with her kind encouragement I discovered that I can twist and stretch! She meets each student where they are at and helps them to do their best! I am so glad she is continuing her classes via Zoom during this challenging time. I look forward to when we can meet in person again!

Alison is the BEST. I love her classes and her professionalism. She has such an upbeat persona that you can't help but come out smiling. She single handedly got me back into the rhythm of working out after a long hiatus. Her attitude is always you can do anything, we can always adjust the pose to make it work for you. I urge anyone to take her classes, you will not regret it!

Alison is the best. Not only is she a very competent yoga instructor but she is very positive, uplifting and supportive of her clients. She cares about everyone and keeps in touch with her clients by email and her website and has prerecorded sessions. It is comforting In these difficult times to get uplifting messages from Alison when the daily news is so upsetting. She is a treasure!

Alison is a superb yoga teacher and a lovely person. I took yoga many years ago and wanted to get back into it now that I had retired, so started classes with Alison. I've been so impressed that I decided to try and improve my posture and flexibility also with private lessons. Alison is very good at what she does and pushes or stretches you when you need it but is cognizant of your "weaknesses" without making you feel stupid, unaware or "old" (which I technically am). Plus she makes it fun! I would strongly recommend her as a teacher for anyone.
