In my 14 years in the construction industry, I have unfortunately worked with quite a few unethical and unprofessional contractors. With that said, I can say my experience with Austin Block Co. and its Owner, Joel Beebe was nothing short of exemplary. Quality and professional work. Joel was very upfront and honest with me at every turn. Joel's level of knowledge in his craft shined through in his Company's work on my 8' and 20' x 180' butter block retaining wall. The people at Austin Block Company really hooked me up with some beautiful Austin White Limestone. It is very challenging to get is challenging to get limestone in Houston that is affordable. When I called the Austin Block Company Limestone Quarry the price was 1/3 as much as the stoneyard. They even shipped it to my house. The delivery crew was friendly, on-time, and very helpful.

The total amount of limestone delivered was 3 palettes. I got 2 mixed palettes of 4", 6", and 8" Austin White Limestone bricks. And 1 pallet of 6" Limestone Bricks.

The 2 attached pictures are for a retaining wall. There are not many limestone retaining walls in Houston. This one really makes an impact. The rest of the stone was used for landscaping borders.

Austin Block Company installed a 50' limestone block wall (20 x 5' cut limestone blocks) at our new house for the cut into a hill by our garage. It was a 2 day job.
They are an incredible company to work with. From our initial contact with Ryan for the sale, who was up front on the lead time of the installation (about 2.5 weeks) and kept in contact during that time, to the site prep and installation team who came out and did a great job prepping the site, installing the blocks, and cleaning up after themselves. They were all friendly and knowledgeable.
They are my first choice for any future stone work that I need done. They may be a little pricier (but ONLY a little) than some, but you pay for what you get, and what you get with them is great turn-key service by knowledgeable professionals.

Joel and his team at Austin Block Company did a fantastic job at our home. I contacted them to give me an estimate last week and 10 days later the job was complete on time and on budget. If you're in need of rock work, they are the guys to go to. They have my highest recommendation.

Unlike most of the other Stone companies I have dealt with in the past , Austin Block Company offers a large variety of high quality natural stone so with one phone call I can Order a truckload of Chopped Limestone as well as a truckload of butter stick blocks, plus the turnaround time is usually no more than a couple of weeks! I highly recommend!!
