  Finally found a great Mexican restaurant!! Been in Washington state for 8 months I've tried several almost gave up trying. This is a great place and a great atmosphere in Gig Harbor. I recommend it to anyone. I ordered the Choriza n Shrimp tacos which was really good. Portions are very big chips and salsa are fresh.

  This is my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in the state. I judge all Mexican restaurants by their salsa and Puerto Vallarta is by far superior in this state. Portions are magnificent (seriously, I think I’m gonna blow up) and prices are reasonable. Service is, of course, very friendly. Definitely stop by if you have the chance.

  This is the kind of place with big platters. The kind of place where the salsa at your table never runs out. The dining room has a dark, rustic feel since they remodeled it.

  Had a great experience! Our waiter was very attentive and the food was a nice large dinner portion. Best service we’ve gotten in a restaurant in a long time! Delicious food too. Yum

I suspect the food is good because of the alcohol but at that point, who really pays attention. The Vallarta burrito, I think, is the best thing on the menu. The plate is huge and the taste is great. However, it is $15 which makes it a tab expensive for a burrito.
