Excellent!! I had unique issues with my Toyo and John drove two hours to fix my stove on the same day that I called him. Highly recommend his expertise - very knowledgeable. Eight year old Toyostove is now running like brand new! Thank you! Call this guy!
TL, DR - He will absolutely find and fix your Toyo woes
Talked to him (John) around 5 in the evening explaining my problem. He said he would try to make it out that night. He got to the house around 9PM and went straight to work. Around 1030 he said he had to go but he would research some more information and come back the next day. Next day rolls around he shows up, worked steady for several hours to get my unit fixed. The bill even came to less than I anticipated.
When most people would've quit and tried to sell a new unit, John stuck in there and wouldn't let it beat him. We're just glad to finally have heat and hot water again.
John is not only a super personable guy but also very, very knowledgeable on both Toyo and Monitor heaters that so many of us Alaskans depend on to keep our houses warm. He has always done right by us and done so in a prompt and professional manner. Don’t hesitate to give him a call. You will be glad you did.
The Toyo Doctor was over to our place tonight. John Ohmann is expert with the Toyo heaters, probably others as well. John also helped out two other Eagle's Nest folks this week. He likes pizza and a cool drink while he works and it's nice to send him on his way with some extra pizza. He works really late hours. Needless to say, I really liked The Toyo Doctor.
I have 3 separate units and John has serviced all three in the last couple of years and I couldn't be more happy with my stoves. He's always responsive to my calls and requirements.
