  1850 Realty is more than amazing! Carol Farrar not only explained in detail from beginning to end, she also kept the seller agent on task. Carol walked through the home inspection with us as if it was her own home. No doubts about her knowledgeable team and her persistence in closing the home in a timely manner.

  Are you looking to bring in a heavy-hitter who can solve your problems and put you at ease during the home-buying process? Then look no further than Carol and 1850 Realty. At the beginning of 2022, my partner and I found ourselves in a difficult situation with our landlord, and we were looking to purchase a house quickly in the midst of a terrible market. Everything seemed way too competitive and ridiculous because of the "new normal" in home buying that apparently, in addition to high-flying prices in North County, also necessitates waiving contingencies. As a first-time homebuyer, I am not afraid to say that navigating this process is stressful (especially for my Type A personality, which depending on who you ask is either “hands-on” or simply “annoying”). Carol was not phased. From Day 1, she had our backs and led us confidently through the process. So let’s review a few things that set her apart. First and probably most importantly, do not be fooled into thinking that the Redfin model is going to be your answer. Carol brings personalized knowledge to the table that Redfin agents simply can’t compete with. She keeps the process on track while protecting you and your earnest money at every step of the process. She sits down with you on Day 1 and makes sure that you understand the process, your budget, and what it will take to win, so you don’t find yourself mucking around with a dozen offers. She conducts all the correspondence very professionally to keep each of the players honest and on a fast-track to close. We found the house that we love within a little over a week, and thanks to Carol we weren’t even the highest bidder when our offer got accepted. Carol is the best, so do yourself a favor and go put her under contract.

  Carol is everything we were hoping for in a real estate agent and more. She came highly recommended and fully exceeded all our expectations. All our interactions with her were warm and friendly, while also making us feel like we were working with a professional team. She went above and beyond during the entire sales process from start to finish.
  
  In the initial listing meeting she proposed an asking price that well exceeded our realistic expectations, but she had the comps and market research to back up that asking price. With her marketing plan and experience we sold our home quickly and above our asking price while also recording the highest price home sale in our neighborhood.
  
  I cannot recommend Carol and the 1850 Realty team enough. If you are in need a realtor who gets the job done with an amazing heart, honesty and follow through, she is the one to call.

  Carol was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the home buying process as easy as possible.

  I cannot recommend enough Carol Farrar on the amazing job she did as our realtor. She was on top of everything from the beginning. We met her for the first time on a Saturday and went to see the house of our dreams after the meeting. We submitted an offer that Sunday and our offer was accepted the following day!
  
  This was only possible because of Carol’s great expertise because she knew exactly the kind of offer needed to present to make the best first impression. And we apparently succeeded because a last-minute offer came after ours and outbid us, but our offer was still accepted!
  
  She guided us through all the processes within escrow making it feel painless. She was effective in her dealings with the seller and the seller’s agent on our behalf and addressed any questions or concerns we had. Once escrow closed, we were so excited to be new homeowners!
  
  And we have Carol to thank for that!
