  Where do I start......we randomly looked up this place as we were passing through and when I say all the food was good that's a understatement. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned and the sweet potato waffle was nice and fluffy with lots of flavor. To top it off they also had homemade butters and drizzle for the chicken. I will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in the Carolinas.

  Had a pleasant visit here. Couldn't stay long but I did get a chance to sit down and get my food. Food came out in great timing. Good flavor and the menu is simple ( which I love). I'm a sweet tea fan and omg it was good.
  
  Place looked clean
  Host came in good timing ( some places the host is no where to be found 🙄) so I got seated in a timely manner
  The crew was nice
  Fast service but it was slow when I came which is even better for me 🙃.

  As always Dames didn't disappoint! We dined in on Resurrection Sunday and it was so divine. Great food, great vibes. The host was SPECTACULAR! We had about a 35 min wait due to it being Easter. That was fine because we sat outside in the nice cool shade.
  
  The place was packed. Great sign! We were sat by the front window which I loved because it was so beautiful outside. The weather was perfect. Everything was perfect. My husband mom and I enjoyed our time there.
  
  We all had the Carolina Cockerel: 3 Wings, original Waffle(I had the vegan waffle and babyyyyy...delicious) with Mac and cheese.
  
  I will say I am not a fan of their Mac n cheese. It's a little on the bland side. It's not your typical down south Mac. But we downed it with Sweet tea!
  
  I did also notice the slight difference in the menu prices. Whew chile. My meal alone was 20.00! During the week its more inexpensive but hey I get it. Worth the visit!

  So once we got past the lack of customer service from the young lady that was at the front the first time we came in to get a table everything was great. We had a 30-40 min wait and even though the young lady with us missed the text by quite some time, they still accommodated us. The chicken was amazing and waffles was very much on point!! The second young lady that acted as hostess was really and and so was out waitress!!
