  Scottie has truly been helpful in teaching us how to navigate our communication in a neurodivergent relationship. He is kind, patient, and excellent at hearing opposing viewpoints without taking sides or judging. I would recommend him for any couple seeking better communication with one another.

  Scottie has a gentle energy that guides his clients through various situations. You will feel heard, seen, and walk away with actionable items to keep you moving through whatever situations life presents at you.

  Scottie is a wonderful clinician. I have been seeing him for talk therapy since March of 2021 and every session we’ve had, I have left feeling very at ease with all of the things going on in my life. He sits there, he listens, he knows just the right things to say, and just the right things to ask you to get you unpacking and processing all which is troubling you. If there’s a point where he is talking and you start talking, he stops and he becomes attuned to what you’re trying to say so he can give the best, and most appropriate feedback. Other clinicians I have had in the past have talked over me so this was a very important thing for me to highlight in this review. He’s a great therapist and he turned out to be a great fit for me and I hope that in writing this review, he can potentially be a great fit for the person reading this and thinking about reaching out to him for services.

  I have been going to therapy here for about a year now and can not sing higher praises. While my issues were not his specialty Scottie was still very open to helping me and has been amazing. You can tell he really cares about helping people no matter what is troubling them. He goes above and beyond what he needs to do and is always flexible when needed. I was very reluctant to pursue therapy but he was great at understanding that and helping me get comfortable with the process. He’s patient and you always feel like he’s on your side against your obstacles. Sometimes the best therapy is just venting without judgment and working through your own problems out loud. He is especially great at and always knows when to comment or when to let you keep going. Go see Scottie!

  I am happy to recommend Scott as a counselor. After going through several serious life changing events including a car accident and losing my career to 2020, Scott has helped me navigate through it all and really find myself and my strength again. I'm happy to recommend him. He has been a godsend to me. He is genuine and caring. I find his style helpful and in a very safe environment. I always leave my sessions feeling so much better. He has helped me get to the root of my challenges and find my way. I am so grateful.
