  The entire group was fantastic from the pilots to operations. We had an beautiful morning and our pilot Mateo was awesome. Knowledgeable about the entire and Sonoma region, going in depth about many areas. He was also entertaining and fun! Just posted a few pics as I didn’t want to give too much away.

  After an earlier flight on a separate day was canceled we were able to reschedule. However, it would have been nice to have been able to reschedule on site before leaving. Staff were really friendly and fun, especially Mateo, our pilot. Highly recommend for anyone who may contemplating something like this. A fun and unique time.

  We drove to Sonoma for our wedding anniversary and we booked our first hot air balloon ride with Sonoma Ballooning. We met up with the crew first thing in the morning. They were very friendly and welcomed us with coffee and snacks. Oh, and they also had a bottle of Kahlua for your coffee to calm the nerves. We were a little nervous at first but we were lucky to ride with the best pilot in Sonoma. Jeff made the ride fun with his silly jokes and we felt safe as he explained to us how the balloon operates. We had a smooth ride and a safe landing. After our ride, we went back to our meet up spot and had some champagne with the crew. This was the most beautiful experience ever and wouldn't have celebrated our wedding anniversary any other way.

  What an incredible experience! Easy to find, clear directions, professional, friendly and welcoming team. It felt like a truly local look at the beautiful Sonoma area. For anyone scared (I was nervous) , its totally calming and it feels very safe! And wonderful champagne "toast" at the end - we made some great friends too! 100% would recommend this unique and authentic experience!

  The folks at Sonoma Ballooning are terrific! Very punctual, professional, competent and also very funny and easy going. We were a group of five from Atlanta and they made us feel welcome. The ride itself was excellent, with gorgeous views of Sonoma Valley and could also see the SF skyline at sunrise. The champagne upon landing was a good bonus. Highly recommend them!
