  Our experience finding and buying our first home was seamless with Melissa. She guided us through every step of the process and answered all of our questions when they came (which was a lot!). We were quite overwhelmed going into the process, but Melissa’s knowledge and expertise eased our anxieties. She is such a genuine person who cared more about our happiness and us as humans than just doing business. She was truly the best person to help us find our first home.   Melissa is a very patient and welcoming person. She helped buy the house when I was in the midwest and gave me her honest opinion about the area and the houses/condos. I will highly recommend her as she is not an agent (trying to sell the house for commission) but acts as a friend (helping to make you feel comfortable and follow your heart). I wish her all the best in her endeavors.

As a buyer that was new to North Carolina, she took the time to educate me on North Carolina real estate laws. She provided guidance and support through 8 offers.   We were lucky enough to meet Melissa for the first time who accommodated our hectic schedule and met one fateful Sunday afternoon to show us a home. We decided to exclusively work with Melissa after seeing her put in a lot of time without the pressure of “having to feel we needed to purchase right away” as the market heated up.
  We decided to ultimately build our custom dream home with the support of Melissa who worked with us throughout the entire process (which took over 18 months).
  She offered a great perspective and was involved in each step of the build. (Architect design to numerous selections to home inspections)
  She is willing to ask the uncomfortable questions, bring background knowledge of things we wouldn’t have thought of to ask, to being a sounding board when things got stressful.
  Her diligence to our new home build made it an easy decision to also list our home that we were living in West Cary. She was not only able to list our home competitively, she provided a great presentation of how she came up with the best price to list our home in a very competitive market. She worked behind the scenes before our house was even listed and we were able to sell our home SIGHT UNSEEN in 2 days after listing it as coming soon. Our home ended up being at the time the highest sale in the neighborhood!
  Looking back at our home buying and selling process, Melissa took the time to make sure our family was happy every step of the way.

  It's hard to say enough good things about Melissa's kind, expert help. After a life of Army service all over the world and another few in urban apartments, we were both ready to buy a home and incredibly nervous about spending "the house money" we'd been saving for 40 years. Yes! This was our first home-buying experience. It was our amazing luck to find Melissa. She kindly answered a bajillion naive questions and quickly inferred what we wanted (even though we weren't sure ourselves) with obvious careful thought and shrewd observations. She gently helped us narrow the field by asking just the right questions, never pushing. Truly, she's "the honest broker" of yore; endlessly patient, positive, and supportive. When Covid struck, she adapted smoothly and managed to keep us safe while continuing the hunt for just the right place. When we finally found it, she made the whole administrative process of buying seamless and - again - safe. The only face-to-face contact was 5 minutes outdoors. She coached us through negotiation with great integrity, professionalism, and yet more patience. I'd recommend her without reservation to anyone - buying or selling.
