Shelby Humane

My kids and I have volunteered with Shelby humane in the past and recently adopted a few animals. The staff was great. They are working with very limited resources and in a stressful environment but still managed to have great attitudes and were exceptionally kind to the animals and helpful through the adoption process.

Great shelter for adoptions. Staff friendly and helpful. Adoption procedures easy. Picked up our last 2 fur babies from them.

I took my two cats to get spayed at the Shelby County Humane Society through their Spay and Neuter Program, and it was such a wonderful experience!

Not only were my kitties well-cared for before, during and after their procedures, but the cost was MUCH more affordable than having it done at our vet (like hundreds of dollars cheaper), and Amy and Billy were both so professional and kind!

I cannot recommend this service enough! Thank you for providing this program and loving the fur babies of Shelby County so fiercely.
