Whispering Oaks Chapel

I wish I could post 10 stars! Sandy did a phenomenal job of describing my son at his memorial. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the ceremony was. Sheila is incredible! She works her tail off and handled the set up, acquisition of food, presentation, layout, and covering every detail exquisitely. So many people raved about the food and service. Above all, Sandy & Sheila are the most lovely people. Sandy & Sheila you’re the best!

My daughter was married at Whispering Oaks Chapel last week. We first saw it with a prayer group. If you are ever invited, go. This place is a real gem. It reminded me of Aspen. It is outdoors and has a magical Mountain View and open space. It is surrounded by mature trees and probably a hundred white roses. It is hard to imagine a more beautiful setting in LA or Ventura counties. It was peaceful and spiritual and loving. We had invited 20 guests. The ceremony was short (which in my book is a blessing). The Bride and Groom worked with the Officiant and were encouraged to write their ceremony words including opening and closing prayers. It was important for us to include our religion and reference to our beliefs.

Whispering Oaks played music for the walk down the aisle and a first song for after the pronouncement of Husband and Wife. We had Angel, a referral from Sheila, take the pictures. She was special also.

Sheila, the owner, was professional, walked us through everything and was a joy to work with. They also provided the Marriage License. That was a pleasure for my daughter and her new hubby. I don't think it can be beat. 5 Stars. I'd give it more if I could.

The place is so beautifully elegant and private with amazing views, lavender garden, majestic old trees, perfect for an intimate ceremony and gathering.
The cottage is simply adorable. It is decorated with taste and offers comfort and privacy to get ready.
What makes it even better is the passion and professionalism of the owners. They both go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of.
From the license to the music, the sitting, the flowers, the ceremony style, the caring officiant, all is perfect.
I warmly recommend it.

I could not have asked for a more beautiful location or perfect experience; and we were able to get video of the ceremony and a lot of pictures to share with family and friends.

I HIGHLY recommend this venue if you're looking for above and beyond customer service and a beautiful, intimate venue for your wedding. I don't know when we could have made this happening with Covid in the way and I'm so glad Whispering Oaks exists!
