(December 20, 2022, 11:20 am)If you are looking for a yoga instructor who incorporates body, mind and spirit Kendi is that person. She uses small classes, that have a non judgmental, safe space. Kendi is Ayuvudic trained and helps you explore all aspects of your practice by educating you the focus of the class, guiding you through the practice in class through movement. I have found that movement can reach places deep within our bodies and allow release and healing. She understands the need to strengthen the body and soul at the same time through gentle care of ourselves. She asks permission before touching your body to help with a pose and suggests alternative moves if your body cannot do a certain movement or it causes pain.

(June 5, 2018, 9:31 pm)Kendi creates a calm and non-threatening environment for yoga. I even dared to attend one of her classes without any of my friends, and I felt immediately at ease. The yoga Nidra class is my favorite yoga class ever! I leave feeling rejuvenated and strong - but most importantly, abundantly grateful.

(June 5, 2018, 1:06 pm)I am new to yoga and was quite intimidated by the idea until I walked in the door of one of Kendi's classes. She made me feel comfortable and fully capable of succeeding in her classes. I never once felt judged or out of place in her classes. She even made special accommodations for me to attend a class after having surgery. She is so thoughtful and caring. You should definitely give her classes a try whether you're experienced in yoga or new to it.
