Georgia National Cemetery

My son is buried here and the service was awesome. The grounds are well kept. It’s so peaceful when you visit and the appearance is impeccable. The staff is warm and helpful in all your needs. I’m so glad I chose this place to lay my son to rest. I visit often and love the scenery and Serenity.

Thank you to Army Retired Colonel Carey Cole for the time he spent with my sisters and I just talking and saying a prayer with us, we appreciated his comforting words. This cemetery represents the resting place our veterans truly deserve. May they Rest In Peace.

Georgia National Cemetery is beautiful. Service times during the week are very regimented. There is an information kiosk where you can enter names to find burial locations. Also restrooms near the kiosk. There are bells that play patriotic songs on a set schedule. The grounds are well maintained. The cemetery is far enough off the main road that the cemetery is usually very quiet and tranquil.

My Grandparents are buried here. The staff were phenomenal and they took care of us. I urge everyone who has loved ones buried here to visit and leave pennies. The pennies (love) always come back to you.

As painful as it is to see my daddy's name on the headstone, but through my heart brokenness, going gives me comfort. This has to be one of the most beautiful & peaceful places on earth. The grounds are extremely well kept. Every time I visit, I am so happy that my daddy chose the GA National Cemetary for his final resting place.
