Alexander's Floors

We had water damage at our home and had to fully replace our flooring and repair other water damages. After going through various contractors, who either gave high quotes or were not immediately available, one of our colleague recommended Alexander's Flooring who not only gave competitive price but also delivered pretty good. They scheduled their work based on the rest of the repair work schedule and finished everything in a reasonable timeframe. Georgetta also recommended their sister company to fix dry wall/carpet repair and bathroom remodeling, who again did a great job. I would highly recommend them for quality, professionalism and timely completion of the work.

So far quite happy, it has been only a month so I haven’t found out yet about quality of the varnish that was applied. I am impressed though with responsiveness, prompt and clear explanations about the work process and materials being used. Used a clear polyurethane ( a cheaper option with a longer curing time) since it is a rental property but I like a warm glow of the oil based polyurethane on oak hardwoods versus a water based poly that preserves natural color of the hardwood.
My floors were in fairly good condition so I haven’t asked to stain it which is included in the price. Pricing was reasonable and sanding perfect even in hard to reach areas.

I highly recommend Alexander's Floors. They refinished the entire first floor of our house, about 1,300 sq. ft. We received several estimates from different flooring companies, but chose this company because Alexander was knowledgeable, confident, and made us feel at ease. The estimate was provided promptly and was professional and detailed. The price was very reasonable. The job started, continued, and was completed on schedule. They moved out all the furniture, removed curtain rods, covered the walls and cabinets. They used a dustless method to sand the floors and they cleaned up well, so when the job was done, there was virtually no dust left. The floors looked great. The color and finish were what we chose and we were happy with how it turned out. All the furniture was back, nothing was damaged in the process, they replaced some of the felt furniture pads which was a nice touch. Georgeta helped every step of the way and replied immediately to all our questions or concerns. Overall, great job by this company, we recommend to others and will definitely use in the future.

Alexander’s Floors did an amazing job refinishing and repairing our 22 year old hardwood floors as well as seamlessly incorporating an additional room of new hardwood floors so that they look as if they were original to house. Jose and Alejandro are very talented, respectful of other’s property and payed attention to every little detail. Georgetta was pleasant, efficient and professional to work with through the contract agreement. Alexander was friendly and attentive on the progress of the job. We are so very pleased with the results of their work and highly recommend them.

Alex and his crew did a great job on my projects! I really appreciated how detailed and thorough they were which each job that they performed on my behalf.
