Emerald Care Center Southwest

My father spent a couple of months here. It took a little time for all of the staff to learn his wants/needs, and since then, it's been amazing. They treat him like a person. They communicate with me immediately if anything happens (no matter what time of day). He gets great therapy and most importantly he is overall pleased with the experience. Remember that they cannot read your mind or know some of your expectations, unless you communicate that to them- clearly and sometimes repeatedly- the message needs to get to the right person in order to make it happen. Once I figured this out, I felt things went very smoothly.

Emerald Care Southwest has played an important role in my family as we entrusted them with my Mother-In-Law's care and rehabilitation after a broken hip. I was amazed at the level of care she received especially from the therapy department. Every therapist that worked with her was excellent; they pushed her when she needed it, which was a lot but treated her with respect and love. I was really impressed with the entire therapy team as I watched while I was there them treating every other patient that way as well. So there was no question where we took my Brother-In-Law when he was in need of therapy. It was the same impressive level of care getting him moving with encouragement and quickly back home. We hope we don't have more occasions to require a place for inhouse therapy but if we do, I wouldn't hesitate to send a loved one to Emerald Care Southwest.

My father and grandmother both stayed here, roughly one year apart.
All of the staff were friendly, patient and personable from the nurses to the therapists. They helped up with compassionate care and made sure my family members were treated with dignity and respect. Having had two family members here, I would definitely recommend this facility.
