hope my review helps others as much as the caring team at PAMB helped me. I would not be here if I had not found PAMB and Dr. Ghorieshi. I thought nothing could help me. I was so far down the black hole of depression, that I could not feel anything. I was suffering in total despair. Nothing had any colors I could see, music had become noise, and I was merely existing dragging myself through every minute. Over many years I had tried just about everything to treat the depression and anxiety that came from past trauma, but nothing had been able to pull me out of the hole. I was barely hanging on when I called PAMB and spoke to Linda who was very kind. She answered all of my questions (I had many) and set up my first appointment. I didn’t know what to expect, but I read that some people reported feeling better after their first appointment, and while I did feel a difference after my first, it was small but encouraging. The second treatment was a big improvement in that it was if someone filled in my world with beautiful colors again. I saw the beauty around me. The following weeks just kept improving everything inside me. It wasn’t a masking of the despair but the complete absence of it! I enjoyed people again, I wanted to be with people again, and I was enjoying my fabulous family. I continued working with Dr. Ghorieshi and his team who are all world class, and I love being back to myself. The strong, confident, person that is the real me is here and thriving, and I am writing this 3 years after my first treatment at PAMB. If you are suffering, PAMB is the place you want to go for help. Dr. Ghorieshi has chosen the best team, and I will always be grateful to them for saving my life. I’m a real patient, and I’m not affiliated with nor do I benefit from my review in anyway. I share my story because others were suffering beside me wanting to help me but unable to. Whatever you do, get help and don’t give up.

I don't even know where to begin. I have been dealing with 2 major traumas that have greatly negatively affected my everyday life. The last year has been beyond incredibly debilitating for me as one of my traumas is ongoing. I gave up on life and believed that the only way for me to end my pain is to end my life. I have been trying to come to terms with my traumas, find a way to process them and then be able to put them behind me, but I have been unable to heal from my trauma while I am still being traumatized. I believed that I was too damaged and broken to ever be put back together again as a whole, happy person. But then, I discovered Palo Alto Mind and Body, and from my very first interaction with them, I immediately felt understood, and supported. I have been receiving Spravato treatments and while I understand that many people have had quicker results than I have had, I have been making small baby steps in my progress as I am still dealing with an ongoing trauma which makes it difficult to heal from. But every single member of the staff here has been so beyond incredible to me and their support has sustained me even when I am feeling as if I may never heal. Nobody here has given up on me and they continue to provide me with the best care I could hope for. Every member of the staff here exudes warmth, support, and positive vibes. I would like to name individual people at the clinic, but then I would run out of room because everybody here is outstanding. I look forward to the days I get to go in for treatment, not only because of the warmth and support I receive from the staff, but for right now, it's the only time my mind is not focused on the negative effects of my trauma. I have never looked forward to dealing with my traumas because of the pain it brings up for me. I understand that I am definitely taking a much longer time to heal, but nobody has given up on me and I can't tell you how important that is when you have little hope yourself of getting better. They won't let me give up and they all believe that I will get through all of this.

As a side note, I have had the most horrific battle with my health insurance company, healthnet, who despite telling me that Spravato treatments are covered under my plan, they have held up my treatment for months. Reza at PAMB has put in god knows how many hours and hours working to get my treatment covered. To say he went above and beyond would be an massive understatement, He is very knowledgeable about how health insurance works and how the companies put all kinds of roadblocks in the way so they can get out of covering a person's treatment. But, Reza has spent months fighting for me to be covered for my treatment and has not stopped working to make sure that Healthnet is held accountable for covering my treatment. Reza could easily have said to me, I have tried, but they won't budge and he could have given up, but the same way that every medical member of this amazing group of providers are all focused on helping people like me, Reza is as invested in helping me as the treatment staff at the clinic. I was constantly amazed that he has never stopped working on my behalf, and 5 months later, he is still working on my behalf. He does not take no for an answer, and he will not give up on you. If I had to handle the issues stemming from Healthnet by myself, I would not have been able to handle the added stress. I would likely have given up, not received treatment, and as I was suffering from so much pain, I believe I would not be here right now.

I am eternally grateful to every single member of Palo Alto Mind and Body, they are a godsend to people who are dealing with severe behavioral health issues.

Best nurses and office staff! They go above and beyond! I feel very safe comfortable when getting treatments. It has been a great relief to me and my family as nothing else has worked for me in the past. Dr. Ghorieshi is very personable and caring and I highly recommend him and his staff! Shout out to Noelle, she makes my sessions go so smoothly and I enjoy our chats.

PTSD has been a very significant part of my life and a lot of the time it feels hopeless going through doctor to doctor, for the first time ever I feel like I finally got a treatment that is working. The I.V. Ketamine infusions provided by Dr. Ghorieshi and nurse Noelle have made an incredible improvement on my life. I was skeptical at first considering this is a treatment, like most treatments, don't immediately give you the wanted results but it really works and for the first time it actually feels like I can live life without taking pills with side effects every morning.

Not only have they provided me a service that has changed my life, all of the staff are incredibly cooperative, intelligent, and nice. For an experience like Ketamine infusions, they are the best people to have around. The room they provide gives you an isolated space from patients setting up the illusion that you are the only one in the facility which provides a really nice comfortable anxiety free experience. In fact, the way the facility is set up you don't even realize there are other patients involved because of how comfortable the atmosphere is.

Their scheduling and phone service has probably the most cooperative appointment coordinating team of all time because they are the only doctor I can reach instantly via text message and schedule appointments within seconds. I was also able to see them for an evaluation very quickly (within the week) as apposed to other Ketamine clinics which takes weeks to months.

Overall, I'm recommending them to any friend or family member or even stranger who has had issues with previous treatments in the past. This place has made a significant improvement on my mental illness more than any psychiatrist could in my entire life. Thank you again, Dr Ghorieshi & Nurse Noelle.
