I went in a little while back to sell a gold bar, having some not so great experiences at other jewelers I went in with my guard up. After only a minute I realized this place was different!

Cleve the owner is HONEST and FAIR; something that seems to be a rarity in my experience with stores like this. Didn't have to fight, haggle or quote the current price of gold. He checked it, and offered me a fair price and it was done. We talked a bit, he answered my questions (his knowledge is grand), showed me a cool gold piece he had and I was on my way.

Frank the security guard is super friendly too. Pleasant experience all around, and they are not only my new go-to, but I suggest them to everybody asking for a jeweler!

I took my wedding ring in to have a the diamond replaced and then to have 3 rings resized. I was told it would take a week and be a certain amount. I was going to be in the area so I called to see if they were ready. They were and I was even charged less than originally told. I definitely recommend and will continue to go there for my jewelry needs.

Mr. Cleve is a very nice gentleman. I came in for two watch batteries and he was able to change them both in a few minutes time. I only had my credit card on me and he gave me a pass on the charge and just asked that I just stop in next time. I will absolute return and I thank him for his generosity.

I went in here to modify a pair of earrings today, I needed a pearl taken off. The service was wonderful!! And you can tell, the owner is very honest and cares about his customers. I was even given a complimentary gift upon leaving. I love my new earrings! Will definitely be returning for anymore jewelry modifications/fixing! :)

everything that you hear about American Jewelers is spot on!! Being new to the area I checked the reviews about how considerate and welcoming this business is. Yes, it is true that you have to ring the bell to get in and there is an extra layer of security, but you can't be too careful these days for sure! Frank, the uniformed gentleman at the door offered me a complimentary jar of jewelry cleaner. Cleve Funk, the owner, greeted me with a smile and offered me a bottle of cold water. I was immediately impressed with the quality of customer service there! I just brought in several watches that needed new batteries and an inexpensive, but much adored pair of earrings with one stone missing on one of them. Mr. Funk offered me a great deal on watch batteries if I could return in an hour and pay cash. As far as my inexpensive, but lovely earrings, he said that he would look around and see what he could do. I returned over an hour later to find all the watches ready and the earrings finished with lovely identical stones! Moreover, he told me that one watch was still working fine, so the battery did not have to be replaced! Not many businesses can still bring a smile to your face! American Jewelers definitely made my day with awesome customer service! I will be back soon!
