Doyle Sail Makers

Great sails and great service. I have Doyle main and jib on my Catalina-27 and they are perfect for San Francisco Bay. Probably not their biggest order but I had prompt, courteous service and clear communication about the status of my order. They even made a house call to Treasure Island to repair a broken slide.

I love my new Doyle sails. The service and support you get from Bill Colombo are great. The difference in performance of the new main sail was so dramatic that I had Bill back on the boat measuring for a new Stratus jib within a month. The sail shape of both the main and jib is so much better in all wind conditions. What I like about Colombo is his attention to detail while measuring my boat prior to designing the new sails, making sure everything is optimized. After installation he makes sure everything is correct as well. He notices everything, including my rig tension, he had me tighten the back stays after the sails were installed.

I was totally amazed by the service that I received. The sail on my Catalina 350 ripped along the whole sail. on July 4th. I reached them on Friday and asked if they could repair it during the next week, since I had planned a special outing. Since it is a furling main, it wasn't easy to get the ripped sail out. They found a way and had the repaired sail installed on Thursday -- less than a week. Thank you very much!
