Relaxing place to sit back and fish and enjoy the view. Almost doesn't feel like your in the city when your here.

This is where I eat lunch when it's nice out, and the Navy Yard does a great job of keeping it nice. The trees are getting taller so they provide nice shade when it's sunny. Tables and chairs are super heavy so they stay pretty stationary; not a lot of moving around by guys who frequent the park. The one detractor is the landscaping on the east side - not really sure what they're going for with the overgrown look. Other than that, it's nice there! I like it here better then Central Green because it's not as crowded.

This is an awesome fishing spot also nice place to jog, take a walk or just sit and reflect on life as you look out into the water as the barges and tug boats go by and the planes fly above your head landing at the Philadelphia International Airport. Lots of photo ops gear also
