Birreria y Taqueria Cortez

Stopped by Cortez after church and we were not disappointed! Friendly service, fairly quick seating and delicious tacos. We will be back!

The parking lot is a little challenging to maneuver through when it’s busy. After getting on the seating list, you can wait outside or sit in your car until your table is ready.

Restrooms were super clean!

There are two outdoor spaces. One in the rear of the restaurant near the creek and outdoor seating in the front. The back patio would make a nice pace for a private party.

I love this place!!! I usually grab my tacos from the food truck up the street from their new restaurant. But I had time today so, I choose to dined in. I ordered the birria tacos lunch special w/ beans and rice added. The taste and quality is still present, however I could definitely taste the difference between the cook at the taco truck verses the restaurant. Highly recommended 👌🏾

Place looked like any normal taco place. Until the service and food happened! Great customer service and great food! On my first visit I have became a regular. These type of family owned businesses need to stay in business. Hands down a great restaurant if you like authentic Mexican food!

I thought I didn’t like birria but I decided to give this place a try anyway and WAS NOT disappointed. I’ve tried both their tacos and “pizza” and they are both great! The flavor is good, will definitely keep returning.

I believe these are on top of the birria tacos 🌮 list 🗒 in town! Been here twice with my fiancé and have been satisfied both times! Well served, great service, and friendly environment! Thank you guys! 😊👍🏼
