La Lechonera

This is a great small diner/ luncheonette. I had the meat platter w. cheese grits. The sage sausage is excellent. They give you lots of food for the price and everything is done quickly. Staff is nice and attentive. Lots of regulars which makes it feel homey. Quick note: it's cash only! You looking for somewhere to eat hearty while chatting with a friend or kill few hours, this is a good spot. If you're into breakfast, it's also a great local go-to.

The fried chicken with the yellow rice and beans was very good. Their fried chicken is Made well and has a nice taste also with crispy skin. It’s only five dollars for a portion of three pieces of chicken with yellow rice and beans.

Never disappointed when I eat here. Feels like family. Fried shrimp with rice n beans is my go to. I always get to meal out of it. Thats a great deal!!!!

Love coming to that restaurant... good food, good people 👏 👍 👌 🙌 ❤. White rice, tostones, shrimp with garlic sauce salad with Italian dressing and 2 classic Cokes in a can. Absolutely delicious.
