Ikeda's

The pies and cobbler are so good here! My favorites are the banana cream pie and cherry pie, but I recently had the cherry cobbler and I think that's my new all time favorite. I like the sweetness and texture of the cobbler topping and look forward to trying the other flavors. The chicken pot pie is kept hot in a warmer and is a great option if you don't have time to wait for your order. It is still very fresh and piping hot. There is tons of white meat chicken and fresh veggies but I'm not the biggest fan of white meat so next time I would try the beef version. The crust is great. Very buttery and flaky. All the burgers are really excellent and the dungeness crab sandwich is very good. Three onion rings are also very nicely done.

A cute and nice little store next to I-80. I really liked the selection of produce, teas, baked goods, and jams. I mainly wanted to go in to try their pies but was honestly disappointed in their pumpkin pie. But staff was friendly and I did like their variety of food.

Loved it! Delicious burgers and pies. Very big portion sizes at reasonable prices. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. When we got lunch here, there was a bit of a wait though (~10-12min) so do be aware. Also, sitting outside, it got a little windy at times, which I was surprised by. One final note: They do sell pies in their glorious entirety. But if you're looking for slices, you can buy those individually too!

This one is so much better than the Davis Ikeda’s and totally worth the drive to Auburn. There’s a lot more selection of goods and the hamburgers were so yummy! We wish there was a burger grill section at the Davis location also. The pies are to die for and the staff members are always nice and friendly.

Definitely our go to place before heading to Tahoe. We got there at 2pm for a late lunch but the place was packed. No parking spaces available. It took 30 minutes to get our order but the quality was still there. Hope they would start to carry more healthier food options and those that are not fried.
