My car stopped on highway 110 I had it towed to this small mechanic shop at 4400 North figuroa, the owner himself checked it out and got it started within one hour then explained the problem and how much it would cost, I couldn't leave the car at that time, but was very grateful that he was open till 6 and it was very helpful and concerned with my emergency situation,
I will go back for repairs in the future and I will recommend this shop ☆☆☆☆☆

Juan, Jesse & the Guys are noBS...all makes & models. Rebuilds to wipers, classic to hybrid. I've known a lot of mechanics in 60yrs...NONE better. If u need auto work, the best thing you can do for your car & yourself is visit Cortez Auto Service in Highland Park.

Neighborhood shop but always feel like VIP here! Had a lot of issues with my last car before buying a new one.

Jesse was always fair and honest about the repairs. He always provided options and worked with us on cost of parts and labor, at times allowing us to buy parts.

And when I was looking for new car, was willing to drive to location and provide his opinion about condition of car and if it was worth cost. I never feel taken advantage of here. He is honest, trustworthy, stands behind his work, always willing to answer questions or explain in terms I understand!

Jesse did an awesome job with my car. My family had been taking their cars there for years. He is very honest and works with you even shows you the old parts and what was wrong with them so you don't feel like you were cheated out. They do a super good job!
