Great place reasonable good people great haircut and shave

I've been going to the Village Barbershop for over 2 decades and I haven't found a better shop. Pete is a good friend and has always given me the style of cut I want. He also gives a razor cut around the ears and the sides of the neck, trims eyebrows, and clips hair within the ears. You can't go wrong visiting Pete's shop.

I am in my seventies and have come here for decades. My recently deceased father [96] did the same. We never experienced a bad haircut or shave!
This is a small business in a small town. Both have character. And so does the owner Pete.
When my father became ill, Pete would come to the house during his off duty hours to give dad a haircut and shave. There were no additional charges for his time and travel. Pete even takes his services to the county jail.
A so called "guide" gave this business a low rating because of "clutter" within the business. I call this "clutter" to be pure "CHARACTER" just like the owner.
I, as we all should, come here for Pete's expert care and his professional time to satisfy our personal needs which we receive at a very reasonable price.
The business "CHARACTER" is a bonus. Something to do besides reading magazines. A treasure hunt begins to see what is there, what has been moved to another location, what may now be missing, and what may have been added. A reason to discuss something besides the usual sports and politics plus the local gossip.
Pete likes to play Golf. He currently has at least two sets of golf clubs within the "clutter". It seems that persons who are aware of his love of golf bring in clubs for him to donate to someone needy who would like to play. Pete is not selfish but selfless. Down to earth. Giving to others when the time arises. A fine Christian.
If you can not understand the distinction between "clutter" and down home "CHARACTER" then please stay away from us. We will all be so much better off! BYE! BYE! I am sure we would love and need many more characters like Pete.

All our usual places for my 4 year old had over and hour wait on a Sunday. I googled salons in williamsburg and this shop popped up. I called over, no wait. We were in and out, he was super friendly and gave my son the best haircut he's EVER had! Now my son says we have to always go to the barber because he gives the best haircuts 😁😁
