Missouri Avenue Baptist Church

My name is Sharon Hensley and I grew up in this church ,this was my grandparents church and this church is very much apart of My childhood. I lived in pompano beach and every time we had school vacation or summer vacation we would visit Clearwater. I love this church and I always felt welcomed even in 2001 . In 2001 the church was kind enough to have my mother's funeral service , pastor vestal I believe was the pastor at the time,before him it was pastor Hugh Harris and his wife Polly. I have fond memories of this church it's very special to me :)

What makes this church great is the people. I've been in a lot of churches in my life...some are nothing more than a pretty building. This church is different...they are like a family, but not a dysfunctional family, they care, true caring, the kind that visits you when your sick, the kind that doesn't compromise the Word of God to simply fill up the church.

Love this church. Been going here for 4 years now. The messages are practical and challenging/encouraging. Pastor Polar preaches right from the Bible, which is refreshing. Highly recommend.
