Lakeside Country Club

Magnificent private club with superior service and excellent food. However, they don't do so well with seated dinners -- an hour and 15 from reserved seating time until food was served while a roomful of waiters sat together with no food to serve. I expected more organized, efficient service from the kitchen staff.

As always, a fantasy land of sorts. Green grass everywhere as if you are in some mythical place.

As picture-perfect as a country club could be. Not to be political, but since the notion of universal health care has gone nowhere, maybe it's time to start lobbying for universal country club membership instead.

Beautiful golf course, perfect for corporate events.
