Hudson Chatham Winery

Amazing food, amazing chefs and hospitality. Their tortilla is so delicious. Their patio is really nice (a good spot to thank the chickens for their eggs, ha!) I hope to come back again. Must go if you’re around :)

We were raving about this place the whole time we were there. The flight “tasting” consisted of getting a glass of wine - going outside, sitting by a fire with their provided blankets, enjoying the wine, and once you were done, they would come out, find you, pour and explain the next wine in the tasting. You WERE NOT forced to stand there and chug it while you figured out what you liked best. They were warm and very welcoming to their establishment while providing one of the best wine experiences we’ve ever had. The grazing board is a must, full of local cheeses, meats and breads. This little winery might just be the reason we travel back up to Ghent and get another little taste of paradise- thanks Hudson Chatam!

Absolutely the best experience, the service, wine, food and atmosphere. Thank you so much! I named the chicken who hung around us Faith. Nice touch. The food platers were wonderful.

We stopped here on your way home from the Berkshires last weekend. Can’t say enough about this winery. The new owners, Steven and Justen were so warm and welcoming. We had fun tasting some of their wines and then enjoyed a delicious humus platter. Steven is a graduate of the Culinary Institute and a Sommelier and it shows. I also loved what he said about the winery using much less pesticides than other wineries. I am always very sensitive to that sort of thing and didn’t end up with a headache after drinking their wines. I could tell they are very clean. As for the wines, they were all very well balanced! Will definitely go back soon!

If you like chilled dry reds, dog friendly grounds, immaculate charcuterie boards, incredibly friendly staff/owner and an updated remodeled winery then look no further.

The owner, Stephen, knows his wines and absolutely knows his trade as a business man. He is incredibly friendly, outgoing and down to earth. He made us feel at home and gave many pets to our golden, Ralph!
