Rum River North County Park

Parked and launched our kayaks into the river from this site. We have rented the pavillion here before by the playground. Wonderful park, nice paved walking trail and offers river camping sites

It was very relaxing and beautiful to be one with nature and watch the river flow with my wonderful Husband

Didn't know that a park this big was in Saint Francis. It is very large with different areas. I was near the boat launch which also has a dock, restroom (port-a-potty), large clearing with picnic tables and heavily wooded surrounding with paved walking paths.

Loved the playground and beautiful well maintained trails. Very peaceful.

I just love this north part of the park. I discovered it one weekend when I was visiting my friend in Isanti for the weekend and I brought my dog. We decided to stop at the park on my way back to the cities as my girl is a big swimmer! The best thing about this entrance is it's free!! Because it's notthe Central Park entrance and considered a fishing pier and canoe access you don't have the state park fee. A great walking trail, probably a mile. I didn't do the trail only the beginning. There is a Pavilion, a playground and a fishing Pier. A fabulous spot along the river! I highly recommend making a stop, a Hidden Gem!
