VEEB Nassau County School of Practical Nursing

This is a good school I recommend it 100% it’s an 11 month program which means it’s 24 months squeezed in. You have to absolutely dedicate your self meaning you have to sacrifice. I wasn’t able to make it to semester 2 this year, but I will be back next year for sure

I was close to joining BOCES in 2019 before a family member that graduated from VEEB ten years ago convinced me. I'm glad I did listen to him by signing up for this great school. I carry this school in my heart everywhere I go. RN school was a walk in the park because of the solid foundation this school embodied in me. Shout out to all my clinical instructors, Ms. Quadri, Ms. Munoz, Ms. B, Ms. Meltzer, and Ms. Hecker. My outermost appreciation to the teachers as well🙏🏽.

I graduated in 2005. I can say in all honesty that VEEB prepared me for my extraordinary career in nursing. The confidence gained there has been with me for the past 17 years. As one of my VEEB instructors put it, “a good nurse can function anywhere!“ …that is one of the many lessons I learned in VEEB That has stayed with me and guides me all these years. I will forever be grateful.

As a graduate of class of 22 I will say it's not easy but it is worth it. We were the first class to come in after Corona. Most of the staff is great.

Let me put it out there this is an accelerated course. You are doing 24 months worth of work in 11 months.
Be prepared to five up your time, social life, hobbies, friends/family time,sleep,work,figure.

We got ati work in the third semester but I'm not sure if they will start it earlier. But if they do it's a great learning tool that should be implemented early.
