In my experience, my mother is a patient, we have great communication thru FaceTime anytime, I visited four times a week and I am always well received by nurses and staff, they make me feel like family
My mother is always groomed
and ready to spend time with me in the outside area or the activities room where there are tv, music and games(bingo)
Most of all how she enjoys her therapy session in which I am present, cheering her.
If you ever need their services, I highly recommend Villa Elena Health Center

My mom was in there care. I really appreciated the constant updates. Almost daily calls regarding weight/diet/medications.
After my mom passed they let me sit with her as long as I needed. The nurses shared very kind stories of my mom. Her singing wasn't disturbing them (for some reason she was singing loudly) . The director nurse prayed with my mom nightly. (I didn't know that until she told me). I really appreciate everyone here that took care of my mom in her final month. It's not the Ritz Carlton of nursing homes but the caring staff made up for the older facility.
Also as I sat with my mom (she was deceased) I could hear the nurses interactions with fellow patients. They are hard, kind working people. I didn't see any issues like the negative posts.
