Thank you Dr. John for always having the up most care for me. Dr. John has been my only OBGYN that I have seen since 2004. He delivered both of my boys and has be there for every question dealing with my well woman exams. Thank you Dr. John for taking time to hear my concerns and helping me through the years. The front office staff and nurses have always been to caring and respectful. Thank you to the whole facility. I highly recommend Dr. John Sherman to any woman seeking an OBGYN.

Dr. V. Sherman is amazing, great bedside manners and always listens. He is very pro woman and supports you and doesn’t push anything on you.
Front staff has been the sweetest with me throughout my pregnancy, no bad things to say.
Lab nurse is the nicest lady, always so gentle and charismatic.
New nurse is really nice and caring. I however have been having issues getting a call back from my urine analysis results.
There has been one instances where I felt uncomfortable with her, but I feel it may be due to lack of communication and because they seem short staffed.

I have gotten my urine tested through my pregnancy what seems like 4 times. When I expressed my concern to the nurse, she said that if I was forgetting to leave a sample that it was not her fault.
I wasn’t placing blame, I was telling her that I have been feeling sick and wondered what they checked for in my urine. She said basic things such as sugar, protein, blood, etc. I then said that I have been feeling nauseous, with a fast heart rate, and consistent headaches. As a 3rd time mom these particular symptoms are new to me and so of-course I am anxious. I felt so bad after getting told essentially that it was my fault and responsibility -if something was up- for forgetting to leave a sample, which I was not told to do. When I spoke to the reception lady at the front, she said she wouldn’t remember to leave a sample or leave one at all if the nurse didn’t ask her too, so she didn’t see how that was my fault or responsibility.
I went home that day bcz the nurse said my blood pressure check out okay.
I felt so gaslit and neglected after talking to the receptionist because what I felt about the nurses comment and lack of analysis was valid. I thanked the front lady for validating my anxiety and not blaming me for me feeling like I basically having unreliable urine analysis history or records to make sure everything was okay.
I am still waiting for a call back.
I have an apt soon and I guess I will have my answer then as well as the blood test they weren’t able to do at my prior apt due to lab closing. A week later. Unfortunately now I feel uncomfortable with the nurse since I feel I cannot effectively communicate my concerns without having it blamed on me.

Edit to add: issue has been fixed. Regardless I recommend GEORGETOWN OBGYN.

I am so grateful for Dr. John Sherman! He was absolutely amazing! I had a really hard time with my pregnancy especially in the first trimester with severe nausea and vomiting. I was losing weight very quickly and he took my concerns very seriously. He helped so much not only with my physical health but mental health too. He was always reassuring that everything was okay with my baby. I can't thank him enough for everything he did!

I’m very grateful for Dr Cooper and her staff. Every interaction I have had with every member within the office (including front desk, MA/PA’s, and lab techs/phlebotomists, & Dr M. - saw me after delivery at the hospital) has felt genuine, supportive and kind. I am so grateful for Dr Cooper’s professionalism but also remaining personable while navigating the good and bad moments through my health journey and remaining always supportive. Thank you for everything y’all do!
