OsteoStrong Mar Vista

In July of 2022,I limped into osteostrong using a cane due to broken ankle surgery I had in April. I had just started to feel like myself after going thru chemo and radiation in Nov of 2021. So the broken ankle set me back 4 months of not being able to do ANY exercise. I was disappointed when my doctor told me I had low bone density and wanted to put me on meds. I was not wanting to take meds so I started looking online for ANY info about it. Then on Facebook I started seeing Osteostrong's page and what caught my eye was how their program can help increase bone density! I made an appointment and started my sessions in August. I stopped using the cane within 2 weeks, I don't limp any more and I actually have a spring in my step when I do my walks. I even regained my balance as doing nothing for 6 months really put me out of shape.

I've been coming to OsteoStrong for about a year and a half to address my bone density issues. Unfortunately, I took a nasty fall a few weeks back and used my hand to brace the fall. Due to the intensity of the fall, swelling, and discoloration around my wrist, I was worried my wrist was fractured. X-Rays showed NO BROKEN BONES! I definitely attribute this to the weekly bone strengthening circuit I've been doing at OsteoStrong. If you're thinking about it, you should give it a try. I've gotten to know many members who have experienced great results too.

I wasn’t sure how my body would respond, but surprisingly, I noticed a marked improvement in my whole body inflammation after my 2nd session. My joints were less painful and less swollen. And as a bonus my sleep quantity and quality improved for several days after! The Osteostrong personnel are also very supportive- I’m encouraged to keep at it!

My bone density has increased! I have oateiopenia and was in need of a cure! Oateostromg is the answer to my bone health and my type 2 diabetes! My A1C is 6.5 now and still improving! Very grateful to the staff and my Osteostromg family!!!!

I have been a member for almost a year. There is no doubt that I feel stronger and more balanced because of this program. My posture has improved too. What works well for me is that this is a 15 minute commitment once per week…that 15 minutes is surprisingly rigorous. The staff in Mar Vista are great cheerleaders. They also provide personalized training on each machine so you maximize your effort. The space is clean and I have taken advantage of their small retail section to purchase my favorite brand of supplements.
Overall a healthy experience.
