The Old Salty Dog

Great food and incredible view. I tried the fully loaded Salty Dog and wasn't disappointed. Robin got the stone crab entree and was very pleased. The mussels appetizer stole the show. It was a full pot of perfectly steamed mussels in wine sauce; a very generous portion. Our waitress was very attentive and witty. A great experience.

Went to Old Salty Dog for the first time. Loved the setting on the water, as we sat outside on a beautiful day.

I had the grilled grouper fish tacos and my wife had the admiral platter. Both were very good and I loved the boom boom sauce on the tacos.

Definitely will be back and highly recommend dining here and sitting outside!

If you're looking for a place to eat with a fun tropical vibe on the water, with a fantastic view of the sunset, this is the spot! Parking is a tad tricky as the small lot does fill up quickly on the weekends. This is your typical Florida cuisine with a dock to drive up by boat as well. The Mahi tacos are pretty solid. The bar is a little awkward when you first walk in and there is not much of a water view from there as the tables take that space up. It would have been nicer if the bar area was flipped with the retail space in the back. Overall, the atmosphere was fun and the service was great!

Hidden gem, the food was awesome, great location, seemed to go when it was busy and it still wasn’t a long wait. Staff was very friendly. The wings for a starter were really good, and you get a lot for the price. Highly recommend this place and would visit again.

First visit and I'd definitely return. The view is awesome. Cathy was our server and she's probably sweeter than the Key Lime Pie I didn't have room for. I had to try the conch fritters and crab dip so that with a side salad ended up being my lunch and I wasn't disappointed. My favorite thing, surprisingly, was the mango chili sauce that came with the conch. I could drink that. Definitely give this a whirl and enjoy the boats going by on a nice sunny day.
