Schriver Guns - Gunsmithing & Cerakote

Fantastic little shop, only charged me $20 to ship a handgun (everywhere else was charging (+$75). Owner is a super cool younger guy and really knows his stuff. Definitely will be returning, thank you!

Mike Schriver owner is a very friendly and professional gunsmith that knows his stuff. I had a hand gun that needed some work and he knew exactly what it needed done. The repair was done right then, no waiting and done to perfection. And the price was amazing low. He didn’t even want to charge me for his services but I insisted paying him something. I initially went to Mike to help me with a rifle that I had an issue with after I reassembled it. He put it right for me. He is now gonna set up my scope. Mike is from these parts and as a younger guy, I am impressed by him. He is an actual, real professional and I have decided to make Mike my "go-to" gunsmith and FFL dealer.

I commissioned Mr. Schriver to apply a H-130 "Battle Gray" cerakote to the barrel, front sight post, buffer tube, upper and lower receiver on my "M4 clone" carbine and let me tell you I am beyond pleased with his work and attention to detail. The rifle went back together very easily and the paint work was practically flawless. I am a gunsmith at a shop in Flower Mound but we don't offer cerakote painting. It is nice to have a local gunsmith that offers painting services and gunsmith work since Denton doesn't have any other shops that specializes in this type of work. Mr. Schriver's background also includes automotive paint application which definitely explains the quality of his work on the examples that he has in his shop and what he did for my rifle. Great price, great work, and exceptional character! Thanks again!

I would like to say I was surprised to see a young man Mike Schriver working the counter. For someone young he is both knowledgeable and a great gun smith. Mike was professional and up front with what could or could not be done. His work was done is a timely manner like he said. I will definitely use him again and I will recommend him to family and friends.
