We sold my mother in law house 3 months ago, it was very fast and got more money than asked price, surprised us that we received one big package of gifts sending to our house. After living in our home for 25 years, we made the difficult decision to sell. We chose Colin to be our first selling agent, and although this was the first time we worked with Colin, he made us feel as if we were old friends.
Before listing, Colin took the time to walk through our home with us and gave us very honest feedback on areas we needed to focus our attention. We were also thankful for his 20 plus year of experience as he helped us eliminate some projects as they would have added little to no value.
Next came the talk about price. As with most homeowners, we sought to capitalize and get larges return. Colin spent many hours toiling over the best price possible. We appreciated the time and effort he took trying to make our listing price fit with the best comps.
Then, just before listing, Colin again took the time to do a walk through and helped us complete the final staging touches. In addition, he enlisted his pro photography team to take stunning pictures of the house. The photos were so good that it made us want to purchase it! In addition, as the listing day approached, we had some reservations about the exterior key box that gave other realtors free access to our home. Colin reassured us and helped us feel more comfortable by providing a box that digitally tracked all activity. He also gave us the control to make showing appointments around our schedule.
When the first listing weekend was finished, we had over 30 showings and multiple offers. Colin was a pro at negotiating a final sales price that exceeded our list price by thousands!
Colin made the whole experience easy. From the posting the sign in our yard to signing the final documents, Colin was always available and accessible to offer advice and answer questions.
